I completed my training as a Forgiveness Ambassador with Eileen Barker from the Path of Forgiveness and subsequently with Oliver Clerc with his Circles of Forgiveness. This journey has deepened my appreciation of forgiveness not simply as an idea, but as a practical and transformative path toward healing, freedom, and peace.
As a member of the International Forgiveness Association (IFA). I am excited to offer this first Circle of Forgiveness in Ireland and hope it will be the first of many. Based on the work of Olivier Clerc, the Circle of Forgiveness is a simple yet powerful process that helps participants release the burden of old hurts, resentments, regrets, and disappointments. No sharing is required, and no previous experience is needed.
This event is offered in the spirit of goodwill. There is no charge to attend, although donations are welcome to help cover the cost of the venue.
I believe that the spreading of forgiveness in our world today is more important than ever. As we heal the wounds we carry individually, we also contribute to the healing of our families, communities, and the wider collective. Forgiveness is not about condoning what has happened; it is about freeing ourselves from the suffering that unresolved hurts can create.
If you belong to a community group, organisation, workplace, spiritual community, or small gathering where you feel a Circle of Forgiveness might be beneficial, I would be delighted to speak with you about offering the process there.
